Free Chromebooks for
Refugees Available 

In partnership with the Afghan American Foundation, and thanks to the generosity of Hewlett Packard and the Welcome.US #WelcomeExchange, we are accepting applications for free Chromebooks while supplies last. 

To apply, review the guidelines below and submit the online form.
Applications will be reviewed by a team member within 3-4 business days.  

Chromebooks are laptops designed by Google operating systems, with similar features that PC laptops and Macbooks have. These devices are perfect for HS aged students, young professionals, and others who rely on devices for school, work, and many

extra-curricular activities. Chromebooks are equipped with Microsoft Word, Google Play store, Skype, USB and SD card drives, and much more.

Apply for a Chromebook 

The 5ive Pillars Organization and the Afghan American Foundation will prioritize the following applications:   

  • High School students from 14 years of age 

  • Transitional Age Youth from 16-25 

  • Women of all ages 

  • Resettled refugees in the San Francisco Bay Area who arrived after August 15, 2021 


All applications will be reviewed while supplies last. 

Note: Receiving a free Chromebook does not impact any local, state, or federal benefits.
