Rita Aziz

Born in Hayward, California, Rita is a child of Afghan refugees who immigrated to the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 1970s. She started working with autistic children as a Behavior Therapist before earning her title as a Medical Assistant.

For Rita, it became clear that working with people and helping others was a deep passion worth pursuing.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, she worked in Biotechnology research for over five years. The biotechnology industry enabled her to develop project management, data systems, and team leadership skills, which she now utilizes towards aiding in humanitarian efforts; but especially for her family's home country of Afghanistan. Rita uses her data expertise to track and analyze data for The 5ive Pillars Organization. Her work is vital towards understanding the analytics of those we serve. 

​In her spare time, Rita is a local volunteer, member, and supporter to dozens of non-profit organizations around the world that provide direct aid to Afghanistan and other parts of the world in need.
