The 5ive Pillars Organization is an

Afghan-American led organization that aids in the resettlement of newcomer migrants in

The 5ive Pillars Of Our Work

Service

We are committed to serving newcomer and migrant communities by welcoming them with dignity and respect.

Sympathy

We lead with care and sensitivity for newcomers who come from rough journeys and backgrounds.

Community

We believe in building community with new arrivals in order to build support and engagement.

Compassion

We center a humanitarian approach in our relief work that acknowledges vulnerable newcomers' unique profiles and challenges.

Unity

We believe in unity between community leaders, volunteers, supporters, and other stakeholders to build a stronger humanitarian response to newcomers in need.

“Refugees are mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children, with the same hopes and ambitions as us-- except, that a twist of fate has bound their lives to a global refugee crisis on an unprecedented scale."
