FREE English Conversation Groups
Newcomer Afghan families with children are invited to FREE English Language Conversation groups at Chabot Community College held weekly.
English Lessons and Tutoring
Participants will receive free English lessons taught by a Chabot College ESL professor, while children receive personalized tutoring by 5Pillar Professor from Afghanistan in core school subjects.
Online Tutoring (K-12) by a credentialed Professor from Afghanistan
Personalized academic support to help students succeed in school, focusing on subjects with a high level of need (i.e., Math) and tailored to language needs.
Online Driving Permit Support Groups
Group sessions to help adults prepare for the California DMV written driving permit test, with language and cultural support.
Online English Courses for Parents & Adults
Beginner-friendly and Intermediate ESL (English as a Second Language) classes.
College Summit Day + UC Berkeley Campus Tour
An inspiring day on campus at UC Berkeley with workshops and a campus tour – giving students and families a glimpse into college life and what’s possible for their future.
