Meet Rabia
Rabia is a Healthcare Administrator who oversees a large team in the field of Healthcare Management in the
San Francisco Bay Area. She is a mom of two children, the oldest sibling in the family, and an advocate her special needs son. Her in depth experience in healthcare and navigating the school system's Individual Education Program (IEP) for her child, makes Rabia an invaluable member of The 5ive Pillars Organization as Programs Director.
At a young age, Rabia was displaced from her native Afghanistan and resettled with her family in Hayward, California. As a refugee herself, she understands the struggle and impact of war and the challenges that comes with finding a sense of belonging and integration in a new community.
Rabia comes from a long line of individuals who believe in service above self. She is a proud sister of the first Afghan-American Public Defender in California, and Rabia herself is founder of the Arzo Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides access to relief and assistance to women, children, and victims of war across Kabul, Afghanistan.
